Attorney & Founder
Elizabeth Neyens helps Minnesota families prepare for the future with thoughtful estate planning that protects their loved ones, preserves family harmony, and provides peace of mind.
Elizabeth Neyens is the founder of Neyens Law PLLC and focuses her practice on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and Medicaid asset protection. She is passionate about helping individuals and families prepare for life’s transitions with thoughtful planning that provides clarity, protection, and peace of mind.
Elizabeth understands that estate planning is about far more than documents. It is about protecting the people you love, preserving family relationships, and making sure your wishes are honored during some of life’s most challenging moments. She takes a holistic approach to planning, helping clients navigate both the practical and emotional decisions that come with preparing for disability, aging, and death.
Known for making complex legal topics understandable, Elizabeth enjoys educating individuals and families about their options so they can make confident, informed decisions. She regularly hosts workshops and educational events where she breaks down estate planning strategies in a way that is approachable, practical, and occasionally even entertaining.
Clients appreciate Elizabeth’s ability to combine deep legal knowledge with genuine empathy and a sense of humor. She believes planning does not have to feel intimidating or overwhelming, and she works hard to create an environment where clients feel comfortable asking questions and discussing what truly matters to them.
Elizabeth earned her law degree from William Mitchell College of Law and founded Neyens Law with the goal of creating a client-centered firm focused on guidance, education, and long-term relationships with the families it serves. Her mission is simple: to help clients feel prepared for whatever life may bring.
Outside the office, Elizabeth enjoys traveling, reading, discovering great wine, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband Randy—Neyens Law’s resident technology fixer, event coordinator, and unofficial office MacGyver—make a dynamic team both at home and at the firm.
Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys (Current Member and Former Member of the Board).
