Helping create peace of mind for local entrepreneurs is the icing on the cake for us at Neyens Law. There’s a connection right off the bat working with business owners in our community. Rachel and her family were a pleasure to work with and she’s definitely an advocate you will want on your side when it comes to selling or buying a home.
We did a Q & A session with Rachel so you could learn more about her experience working with our firm and her business.
Why did you choose to work with Neyens Law?
We met Elizabeth through a family friend, and having an estate plan had been on our to-do list for longer than it should have been! After meeting Elizabeth, we knew that she was the right person to help guide us through the process. We always try to support local small businesses whenever we are able to do so.
Why was designing an estate plan so important to you?
We have a family and wanted to make sure that all would be taken care of, should anything happen to either or both of us.
What’s something that surprised you about your experience with Neyens Law?
How quick the process was!
What’s something most people don’t know about you that you are willing to share?
My guilty pleasure show to watch is…The Bachelor. Eeeek – please don’t hold it against me!
What is your favorite family tradition and how did it become a tradition?
Exploring National Parks! We’ve been to 10 together as a family, and try to do one large hike in each. Those trips are some of our favorite memories. We have many more to check off our list.
What sets your business apart?
I always strive to meet my clients right where they are at in their home buying/selling process. If they are just starting to think about a move, I will guide them through the early steps, and once they are ready to move forward, we will hit the ground running. I will not pressure my clients whatsoever – it is a HUGE decision and one of the biggest financial decisions they will make. I will never minimize the magnitude of the decision. I will always put their best interest first, and am always happy to help in any way!
What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs?
Set boundaries for yourself. I’ve found that real estate can easily become a 24/7 job, and sometimes it needs to be. But it’s important to set time to connect with your spouse, family, friends and put yourself first every once in awhile. Be proud of what you’ve accomplished.
Where do you find inspiration?
My clients are my inspiration. Knowing that I am able to help them achieve their real estate goals is a great honor that I take very seriously. Making the process as smooth as possible for them is a top priority. I enjoy getting to know my clients during the process and love keeping in touch afterwards.
